Fr Trevor Trotter discusses Laudato Si’ – A new vision of our connection with everyone and everything from Pope Francis

Trevor was ordained as a Columban missionary priest in 1970. After working in the Philippines, he did studies in Scripture in Rome. In Chicago he trained as a spiritual director. His latest  overseas missionary appointment was Hong Kong for five years. He now works as the Director of the Diaconate Program in the Archdiocese of Brisbane. He also provides Recollection Days and Spiritual Direction for the clergy in the Brisbane and Rockhampton Dioceses.

Over 30 men attended Shalom Chapel for the annual MenAlive retreat. This year was based on Authentic Manhood and facilitated by MenAlive’s Michael Forbes and Peter Shakhovskoy.

Atrium Invitation

Atrium of the Good Shepherd will be officially opened and blessed on Sunday 4th October at 9.15am following the Holy Rosary 8am Mass, this is an open invitation to all parishioners and visitors. Atrium is situated behind Holy Rosary Church (70 Woongarra Street).

This eConference will tap into interfaith issues surrounding the three Abrahamic traditions: Christianity, Judaism and Islam. The aim is to explore the potential for these traditions to cultivate peace in a world that associates Religion with violence.

Australia Day Mass

MenAlive retreat

About 60 men attended the MenAlive retreat at Shalom College to hear Fr Morgan Batt talk about Being called and being bold.

Annual Ecumenical Luncheon
